Since 1850, the Baxter tradtion of creating handcrafted boots has been thriving in Australia and continues till this day. The Baxter Boot company started when Henry Baxter purchased the country's oldest boot making company in Goulburn in 1850 at the age of only 29.
Henry loved all that is Austral;ia and especially making boots right here in Goulburn. Baxter is still well regarded for its high quality boots that range from practical work boots as warn in our armed forces and p[olice force, through to western boots and dress boots.
Henry's grandson Marchell Baxter is now at the helm and continues the family's long and succesful ttradtion of boot making.
