A tough sock especially designed for wearing with steel capped boots. It has thick wool padding under the sole, high on the heel, and importantly above the toe to provide additional protection from the steel cap. The thick padding on the sole also insulates the foot from hot and cold surfaces. Heels and toes are nylon reinforced for longer wear. The lighter weight leg and arch provide coolness and elastic knitted into the arch and ankle prevent the sock slipping into the boot.
